Otori-jinja Shrine
Otori-jinja Shrine is said to have been built in 882.
The Ohara-domyo-ko, an annual event held on August 3, brings together the descendants of the
Ohara clan, one of the Koka
warrior clans, that flourished during the medieval period. To this day, descendants who
preserve the family name, Ohara,
gather in front of the shrine for the event, demonstrating the strong unity of Ohara's.
